ABOUT ME

Ella Emanuel is a fine artist, born, raised, and working in Cincinnati, OH. She currently attends the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She has had a lifelong interest in art and art history, filling her time learning every craft and skill she could from wood and metalworking, to bookmaking and clothing design. After much experimentation, Ella’s primary interest now lies in oil painting, and the combination of this practice with various forms of textile crafts, including quilting, knitting, and weaving. Her mixed media works bring a sense of touch, process, and three-dimensionality to traditional painting.
